Mr. Mohamed Eman

Chairman / Independent and Non-Executive

Mr. Eman was appointed Chairman of MGPL by the majority shareholder (STO) on 12 April 2023. He has also served as a non-executive director of MGPL in the past. Mr. Eman joined STO in 2005 and has been recognized as one of the top 10 performers for two consecutive years. In addition to his extensive operational knowledge, he has over eleven years of experience with the company. He presently functions as the Senior Manager of State Trading Organization Plc's Construction Materials Department. From April 2015 until June 2020, Mr. Eman also served as a Board Director for Maldives Structural Products Pvt Ltd.

He possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He holds the esteemed SAP Global certification and is an SAP Certified Application Associate with a concentration in materials management. In addition, he has received training in project management, corporate governance, international trade, demand forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.

 


Mr. Abdullah Mohamed

Mr. Abdullah Mohamed has an impressive professional background, with experience as a consultant at Male' City Council and as the registrar of association in the same council. In addition, he serves as the Minister of State at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Furthermore, he held the position of deputy minister at the Ministry of Economic Development. He has experience as the Chairman at SABAH Maldives cooperative society, an organization under the ministry of Economic development.

In addition, he has an extensive amount of experience as a lecturer for a good governance course conducted by the civil service association as part of a UNDP project.

Mr. Abdulla Mohamed has attended various seminars and training programs held in China, India, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. These initiatives include the standardization corporation of developing countries, trade union leadership training, and programs focused on core labor standards and decent work for Maldives trade unions.

 


Mr. Abdulla Saleem Abdul Sattar

Mr. Abdulla Saleem Abdul Sattar has been a pivotal figure in Maldive Gas pvt Ltd since its inception. As a Director and Independent Non-Executive, he plays a vital role in shaping high-profile decisions and creating effective communication platforms within the organization. With a strong intellect, analytical acumen, and insightful thinking, he consistently identifies profitable and sustainable growth opportunities for the brand.

With extensive experience in the industry, Mr. Abdulla Saleem Abdul Sattar's problem-solving abilities are unparalleled. His tenure with the company spans from its foundation, showcasing his unwavering commitment. Additionally, he represents the minority shareholder, Champa Oil and Gas Pvt Ltd, and holds positions as a Director of Kasa Holdings Pvt Ltd and the Company Secretary of Champa Brothers.

Mrs. Aminath Juwaidha

Ms. Aminath Juwaidha joined STO in the year of 2009. In 2015, she has contributed in organizing, coordinating and implementation of the changes in the policies and procedures of STO. She currently serves as the Senior Manager of procurement-medicals at State Trading Organization Plc.

She received MBA in General management at Edith Cowan University, Australia. And in 2010 she contributes as a core team member of SAP 'GO LIVE' of supermart and regional outlets. 

 


Mrs. Mariyam Paruveen Abdul Faththah

Director / Independent and Non-Executive

Mrs. Paruveen is the current General Manager of Administration at State Trading Organization Plc. In the past four years, she has also held managerial positions in other departments of State Trading Organization departments.

She earned a BA (Hons) in Business administration in 2010 from INTI College, Malaysia, in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and a Diploma in Business administration from Stamford Commercial College, Thailand, in 2001. Ms. Paruveen has also participated in a number of corporate trainings in Malaysia, Dubai, and the Maldives, including the program of embedding global compact and CSR into your Organization, excellent supervision and leadership skills for women in management, Corporate forecasting, budgeting, and cost control, and the Directors training program, among others.

 


Mr. Mohamed Husham

Mr. Hushaam's journey at STO began in 2012, initially joining the Administration and Human Resource department. With a track record of consistent performance and notable leadership skills, he has advanced to the current role of In-house Project Manager. His expertise spans various domains including Administration, Property and Tenant Management, Security Oversight, Health and Safety, and Project Management, with a successful track record in executing multiple projects. Additionally, he served as the Secretary of the Emergency Health and Safety Committee from 2019 to 2023.

 


Mrs. Fathmath Fazath

With an illustrious career spanning over two decades at STO, Fathmath Fazath epitomizes excellence, leadership, and unwavering dedication. Beginning as a sales representative in 1998, Ms. Fazath's journey within the company has been marked by continuous growth and achievement.

Ms. Fazath's pursuit of academic excellence has been a cornerstone of her career. She holds an MBA from Australian Institution of Business, a testament to her dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Through participation in numerous leadership training programs, Ms. Fazath has honed her skills in strategic planning, team management, and organizational development. Her extensive work experience, coupled with her adeptness in time management and multitasking, positions her as a highly effective and visionary leader.
